National Trails Day

Join us for some fun-filled trail maintenance on the Crouse Run section.
Trail work is crucial at this time of year — approaching the 27th annual Rachel Carson Trail Challenge in late June. Three Rivers Outdoor is co-hosting this volunteer trail maintenance day with us. For this event, we will be focusing on the beautiful Crouse Run section of the trail. Activities will include miscellaneous trail clean up, obstacle removal, drainage remediation, etc.  (Children under 14 must be with a guardian)

Participants can park at the Rachel Carson Trailhead on Sample Road in Hampton Township. Click here for directions. Because of limited space, overflow parking is located at Sample Road/Royal View Drive Intersection: 40.57915, -79.96862.   This is a very short walk away from the start.

Dress for the day with appropriate shoes and your own work gloves. Bring water and snacks for your own needs. Tools will be provided, but you may bring your own loppers, trimmers, hand saw, etc.

Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly,  click here.
