We are working on the relocation of the Rachel Carson Trail off of Yutes Run Road, between Log Cabin hill and Tawney Run Road.
Today we'll be clearing through often dense undergrowth to build the trail through this section. Work will entail cutting back the brush, removing small trees/logs (we'll follow up with a chainsaw to get the bigger stuff) and clearing the treadway of debris. Bring loppers/clippers, bow/folding saw, and gloves (tools and gloves available if you don't have them), and water and snacks for yourself.
