As a precursor to her 7:00 p.m. presentation, we are pleased to announce that Jennifer Pharr Davis is doing a leisurely hike at our very own North Park and is happy to have friends and fans join her. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! The hike will be short (2 miles or less) and slow (conversation and photo ops)! This is free. There is no registration. Show up at 5:45 p.m. for sign-in and be ready to hike at 6:00 p.m. sharp. We meet and depart from The Cabin at North Park. Please do not bring your dog(s).
The Cabin at North Park is located on the corner of E Ingomar and Babcock.

Jennifer Pharr Davis’ latest book, “The Pursuit of Endurance,” which was released in April of this year, is getting rave reviews by readers and reviewers alike.
In 2011, Pharr Davis set the unofficial record for the fastest thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail with a time of 46 days, 11 hours, and 20 minutes, an average of 47 miles a day, a record she held for four years until July 12, 2015, when Scott Jurek finished 3 hours and 12 minutes faster.
