Rachel Carson Trail Eastern Trailhead Parking Alert

by Steve Mentzer last modified May 04, 2006 04:03 PM

"No Parking" signs installed at the parking area across from the eastern trailhead on Freeport Road.

The adjacent landowner was tired of picking up trash and other junk tossed out by thoughtless people so he installed several "No Parking" signs as a deterrent. He will allow trail users to park there, but please place a sign or note on your dash indicating "trail" or "RCT" before you head out. And please, don't litter!
